Dr. Douglas Bayley graduate with distinction from the University of Western Ontario School of Dentistry. In addition to being on the Dean's honour roll in each of the four years of professional school, he was the recipient of the Donald S. Moore Award of Occlusal Therapy and the Oral Pathology Award.
